From "The Grand Fall"
♫Khululiwe Sithole - Lea Halalela♫
Villagers began to come out to greet the travelers. The Wizardik began with his traditional greeting, placing his hands palm to palm and beginning to bow.
“Borem betah…” he began.
“Get away from us!” came the shout from amdist the crowd.
The wizardik looked again at the people, and realized that most were carrying farming tools, and held them in menacing positions. His head cocked to the side as he began to realize the gravity of this situation.
“Go back on your acursed demon!” one shouted
“Leave us in peace!” came another shout.
“We don’t want your kind here!”
The first one to speak looked eye to eye with the (befuddled, amazed, shocked) wizardik.
“We don’t need your brand of domination.”
The wizardik spoke slowly. “I. Come. In. Peace.” He showed his empty hands.
Before him, the man’s face erupted in a snarl. Another villager spat on the ground.
